Culturally Relevant Crops Recipes

This recipe book is a celebration of memory, culture, and the foods that keep us rooted. Each dish you’ll find here was inspired by the heartfelt stories shared by our survey participants, their memories of meals from back home, ingredients they miss, and the flavours that continue to nourish their spirits.

Razan, our brilliant illustrator, brought these memories to life through her art, weaving tenderness and imagination into each page. Alongside these stories, we’ve curated recipes from generous cooking bloggers who share in the love of keeping traditions alive.

May these recipes bring comfort, spark conversation, and inspire you to cook with love—for yourself, your family, and your community.
